Islamic Emirate Pledges Better Healthcare Services

The Islamic Emirate has reaffirmed its commitment to improving healthcare services across Afghanistan, promising continued investment in hospitals, medical facilities, and public health programs.
Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, Abdul Salam Hanafi, made the pledge during a visit to Ali Abad Hospital and Amiri Medical Complex, where he reviewed healthcare services, facilities, and operational challenges.
According to officials, the visit focused on assessing the quality of medical care and identifying ways to improve access to essential health services for citizens.
Hospital administrators briefed Hanafi on available medical equipment, healthcare capacity, services being provided, and challenges facing the institutions.
The deputy prime minister praised doctors and healthcare workers for their efforts and emphasized the importance of providing timely and quality treatment to patients.
He also toured different departments of the hospitals, listened to concerns raised by management, and directed relevant authorities to work on solutions that would improve services and create a better environment for patients and medical staff.
The Islamic Emirate said strengthening the healthcare sector remains a key priority as part of broader efforts to improve public welfare and meet the growing healthcare needs of the population.
