The Impact of MTA Africa 10 years after

Exactly on the 1st of August, 2016, MTA Africa (Muslim Television Ahmadiyya Africa) was inaugurated by the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih 5th.
The signal button was switched on by the global Islamic leader from the London Studios in Gressenhall, opposite the first London mosque.
The language of Broadcasts were English, Yoruba, Twi, French. Kiswahili, Wollof, Jollof, and Fullah.
The regional hub of MTA Africa broadcast was located in Ghana. All productions were done by pool of Volunteers and dedicated staff.
The first Africa Studios was built by Mauritius. The Mauritius team were doing the Translations, fillers and documentaries. Other Studios are now engaged in these tasks.
MTA Africa as foundly called, provides continuous 24-hour religious, educational, and cultural broadcasting, significantly impacting local communities by delivering live Friday sermons, regional health discussions, and localized faith stories across multiple countries.
Some of these programmes are: Friday Sermons, ThisWeek With Huzur, Inspirational Africans, English and Mathematics on Television, Stories of Devotion, Journey To Islam , Faith Matters, Village Documentaries, Contemplations among others.

Local Production
Features content are produced by regional studios in countries like Nigeria, Uganda,Mali, kenya, Sierra Leone and Ghana in Yoruba, Twi,Hausa,kiswahili, Bambara,Jullah and Manzike.
Community values
Promotes educational achievement, moral guidance, and health awareness through targeted programming in Yoruba, Hausa and Twi. Ohun Islam and Koyarwar Musulunci were popular Yoruba and Hausa programmes.In Mali,Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast, Bambara,Jullah and Madinke programmes are broadcast on MTA Africa.
Media and Social ReachDigital connectivity
MTA Africa responded to the dynamics ofvthe media production in the 21st century.
Accordingly, multimedia digital platforms were favourably utilised. Platforms like the MTA Africa YouTube Channel to let viewers catch up on programs anytime. Social media platforms audience reached 40 million during Jalsa salana ( Islamic convention).

Other regional studio projects are located in Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Uganda Bureau, Kenya.
The South African office was opened early this year.
Collaborations
MTA Africa had collaborations with state and international broadcasters across the continent. Ghana, Sierra Leone, Malawi, Tanzania, Nigeria ,The Gambia are beneficiaries of the collaborations.
The icing on the cake was the membership of African Union of Broadcasting, AUB. The AUB Conference in Bostwana was a breakthrough.
MTA Africa was formally inducted after formal presentation by Dr Qasim Akinreti from MTA Nigeria Studios.
By the last count, MTA has participated in three AUB Conferences,- Bostwana, Ivory Coast and The Gambia.
During the AUB Conferences, MTA Africa has offered to train ,share and produce contents with members of the broadcast group.
Ghana and Malawi Television Corporations have benefitted from training programmes.
The World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community appreciated the volunteers and staff of MTA Africa for through selfless services and dedication to the professionalism and propagation of Islam and well as the message of the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad,the Promised Messiah of the age.
He emphasised the need for mord training of MTA Africa staff and volunteers in line with the global media ecosystem.
Managing Director MTA International, Sir Munir Shams equally pray for the staff and volunteers of MTA. He organised a get together to appreciate the Coordinators of MTA Africa and staff in London.

Special commemorative gift from Africa was presented to the Global leader of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to mark the 10 years anniversary held at Islamabad islamic center, Guilford, United Kingdom.
