PHOTO NEWS: Crown Takaful Marks Milestone with First Surplus Sharing

Crown Takaful on Tuesday held its surplus‑sharing ceremony at Rock View Hotel, Abuja, drawing dignitaries, traditional rulers, finance and takaful experts, Islamic leaders and members of the public. The event marked the firm’s first distribution of surplus funds to eligible participants.

Crown Takaful Insurance Limited is a Shari’ah-compliant, non-interest (Takaful) insurance operator licensed and regulated by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM). Following the issuance of an Approval-in-Principle, the company received its full NAICOM operating licence in 2024, authorising it to commence business nationwide. Crown Takaful was established to widen insurance inclusion in Nigeria by offering an ethical, mutual risk-sharing, built on the principles of social solidarity, financial protection, and transparency.
