1. NAHCON says return flights for Nigerian pilgrims from Saudi Arabia will commence on June 3, In Sha Allah.
2. The Oyo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board says 1,037 mattresses have been arranged at its Arafat camp, equivalent to the number of pilgrims transported from the state for this year’s Hajj.
3. A five-member Kaduna State Government delegation led by Malam Abubakar Mustapha has visited Kaduna pilgrims in their accommodation along Ibrahim Khalil Road in Makkah ahead of movement to Mina.
4. The delegation was received by officials of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency led by Administrative Secretary Malam Baba Rufai.
5. Nigerian pilgrims and state officials have been advised to maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation and public health safety during the Hajj period.
6. Pilgrims are being urged to keep rooms clean, dispose waste properly, remain hydrated and immediately report any illness to health officials.
7. Officials of the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board in Makkah have also received the Minister of State, FCT, Hajiya Mariya Mahmoud ahead of movement of pilgrims to Mina.
8. The Oyo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board says inspection of facilities allocated to its pilgrims in Mina and Arafat has been completed ahead of the major Hajj rites.
9. Officials inspected tents, beds, toilets, security arrangements and movement routes to support smooth transportation of pilgrims across the holy sites.
10. NAHCON has unveiled strict Tradudiyya transport and Jamaraat movement guidelines for Nigerian pilgrims during the 2026 Hajj rites.
11. The Commission says 40,939 Nigerian pilgrims will use the Saudi-operated shuttle transport system while 9,910 pilgrims will utilise conventional buses during the Hajj movements.
12. NAHCON says Nigeria has been allocated 359 buses under the shuttle arrangement with pilgrims to move in batches of 180 persons under supervised field guides.
13. Pilgrims have also been warned against unauthorised movement around the Jamaraat during restricted hours between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily.
14. Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports says 1,518,153 foreign pilgrims have so far arrived in the Kingdom to perform the 2026 Hajj.
15. Saudi health authorities say full precautionary measures have been activated to protect pilgrims amid global concerns over Ebola and other virus outbreaks in parts of Africa and Europe.
16. Saudi Arabia says at least 34 medical units have been positioned near the holy sites while additional shaded routes and heat-control measures have also been introduced for pilgrims.
