Qalibaf Says Iran Ready for Any Attack
By Sadiq Abdulfatah
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf has said the country’s armed forces are fully prepared to respond strongly to any attack, warning that enemies would face unexpected consequences.
Qalibaf said Iran was ready for all scenarios and insisted that any wrong decision by its adversaries would lead to failure.
“Our armed forces are ready to deliver a proper response to any aggression,” he said, adding that those who choose confrontation would be surprised by Iran’s reaction.
His remarks come amid heightened tension involving Iran, the United States and Israel.
Iranian officials have repeatedly said the country seeks peace and stability in the region but will firmly defend its sovereignty if threatened.
Qalibaf also pointed to Iran’s military readiness, including its missile and drone capabilities, as part of the country’s deterrence strategy.
The statement follows ongoing tension around the Strait of Hormuz, where Iran has imposed restrictions on vessels linked to hostile countries.
Recent confrontations in the strategic waterway have added to concerns over regional security and global energy supplies.
