By Sadiq Abdulfatah
The Emir of Madinah, Prince Salman bin Sultan, has inspected the Pilgrims’ Welcome and Reception Center on Hijrah Road as part of preparations to ensure smooth services for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
During the visit on Monday, he reviewed facilities at the center and checked procedures for receiving pilgrims arriving in Madinah, including transport arrangements to their accommodation.
He said Saudi Arabia has mobilized all resources to serve pilgrims and help them perform their rituals with ease and comfort, in line with its commitment to Hajj and Umrah services.
Prince Salman noted that ongoing improvements in pilgrim services are supported by the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
He added that the goal is to make the journey from arrival to departure smooth and well-organized for all visitors to the holy sites.
The Emir’s inspection is part of regular field visits to assess readiness and improve service delivery ahead of peak pilgrimage periods.
