The Al-Habibiyyah Islamic Society on Saturday opened a three-day Training of Trainers on Inter-Faith Interaction on Philanthropy in Abuja, the opening day featured a mix of clerics and development practitioners involved in faith-based philanthropy.
The programme, supported by the MacArthur Foundation, is designed to strengthen cooperation between faith communities, promote sustainable models of giving and equip participants with practical tools for community-based development. Al-Habibiyyah Islamic Society stated the initiative seeks to deepen trust, dialogue and shared responsibility in addressing social and humanitarian challenges.
Activities on the opening day focused on participant registration, onboarding, introductory engagements and the setting of ground rules for respectful inter-faith collaboration, laying the foundation for technical sessions scheduled over the following days.
