Pakistan Hold Special Prayers at Faisal Mosque for Peace and Unity

Worshippers, officials pray for stability, national progress, and Muslim unity

A special prayer session was held after Friday prayers at Faisal Mosque in Pakistan, with worshippers asking for peace, stability, and progress for the country.

The prayer was led by Professor Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, Acting Rector and President of the International Islamic University Islamabad. The gathering brought together senior officials, invited guests, and a large number of worshippers from Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Participants prayed for national unity, stronger development, and success in efforts aimed at improving Pakistan’s stability and growth. They also prayed for peace and harmony within the country and across the world.

Prayers were also offered for Pakistan’s security leadership, with recognition of their role in maintaining national safety and contributing to peace efforts in the region.

In his sermon, Dr. Alahmed spoke about the need for unity among Muslims worldwide. He said division weakens nations, while unity brings strength, peace, and progress.

He stressed that Islam teaches Muslims to remain united, patient, and committed to the guidance of the Qur’an and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

He also said that following Islamic principles helps societies stay strong and better handle modern global challenges.

The event ended with collective prayers for Muslim unity, strong leadership, and lasting peace in Pakistan and around the world.
