Alh Usman Adamu Ahmed has made a significant impact on his community and beyond Bauchi State through his unwavering support for Islamic propagation, Humanitarian services, empowerment, youth development and nation-building.
He hails from Zaki Local Government Bauchi State, Nigeria, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration from Bayero University, Kano. In addition, he is a multi-certified professional in his profession. These certifications stand him out; thus, he has Midas’ touches in his places of work.
Professionally, Malam Adamu Usman Ahmed is a multi-award Financial Consultant and seasoned Tax Leader with over 20 years of experience. He is the Head of the Internal Audit Department and Chief Audit Executive at Julius Berger Nigeria Plc. He was also a senior auditor & financial consultant at Deloitte & Touche, where he supervised a high-quality audit that met regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and client expectations. Equally, he has strong expertise in taxation, tax planning, internal auditing, risk assessment, and finance management. He possesses an in-depth understanding of the tax landscape and regulatory requirements. He has a proven track record of successfully managing tax-related projects and initiatives for organizations across various industries.
He joined Julius Berger Nigeria Plc as the Group Head of Taxes, overseeing financial reporting and tax audits for the entire group. His proficiency and success in these roles led to his appointment as the Chief Internal Auditor of Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, a position in which he has significantly improved the company’s financial performance over the years.
One of his passions is to make the lives of common Nigerians regardless of tribe, race, and colour meaningful. He enjoys tremendous goodwill among the good people of his state, BauchiState, and remains committed to touching their lives, sparing no expense. The goodwill is garnered from all sides of the state and beyond. His community service is making him the pride of the state and an exemplary servant of Allah. The good people of Bauchi State are eagerly waiting for the day they will pay him back for his positive contributions and kindness towards their personal development and growth of the state.
