Renowned for her unwavering dedication to education and academic excellence, ‘Professor Olayinka Ramota Karim’ stands as a beacon of leadership and scholarly achievement. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and her Master of Science, from the University of Ibadan. She holds the distinction of being the first Doctor of Philosophy graduate of her department at her alma mater.

With more than 25 years of distinguished service in teaching, research, and community engagement, Professor Karim has built a robust academic portfolio that includes over 195 publications and 43 international presentations across 12 countries. Her vast expertise and insightful contributions have earned her significant roles within national academic bodies like the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), where her influence continues to shape the future of higher education in Nigeria.

Since assuming the position of Vice-Chancellor at ‘Fountain University, Osogbo’ in March 2023, Professor Karim has shown steadfast commitment to advancing the university’s academic standing and societal impact.
