MIND Foundation Completes Cohort 2 Capacity Building Training

In response to the evolving demands of the modern workforce, The MIND Foundation has successfully concluded the final phase of its Career Advancement Program (MINDCAP) for Cohort 2 (2025/2026) of its annual capacity building for young Muslim graduates in Lagos state.

In a press release the organisation explains the importance of the programme

It says : “the intensive human capacity development initiative, specifically designed for Muslim First-Class Graduates, hosted on July 26th at the Sustainable Procurement Environmental and Social Standard Center of Excellence (SPESSCE) University of Lagos, was designed to bridge critical educational, entrepreneurial, and soft-skill gaps, the three-part program equipped participants with actionable expertise across three core pillars: Personal Development, Leadership, and Enterprise Development”

During the three modules, seasoned industry facilitators—including Miss Shukroh Adeyemi, Dr. Jubril Salaudeen, Malam Saberedowo Hassan Kehinde, Mr. AbdulHameed Danmole, Mr. Yusuf Ololade Shinaba, Mr. Bola Kabir, Dr. Tokunboh Abdusalaam, Mr. Mohammed Ademola, ESV. Sulaiman Olokodana and Engr. Bakare Fatai.; delivered practical masterclasses on; Effective Public Speaking, Project Management, Ai & Modern Work Tools, Politics & Power, Critical Thinking, Sharia Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence, Entrepreneurship Fundamentals, Business Plan & Development, Remote Work, CV Writing and Interview, Thinking Hats, and Money Management to help bridge existing skill divides, preparing the high-achieving young and promising graduates to understand the complexity of career lives and excel in competitive corporate and business environments.

Distinguished members of the MIND Foundation Board of Trustees and executive leadership were in attendance to mentor and observe the participants, underscoring the foundation’s commitment to cultivating the next generation of ethical, high-performing leaders.

Speaking on the impact of the initiative, foundation representative and BOT member, Alh. YKO Abdulkareem emphasized that empowering top academic talent with real-world enterprise tools is key to driving sustainable economic growth and closing socio-economic divides.

The yearly program will provide support to target young graduates in meeting their career goals and, for building effective partnerships with the Muslim community and other relevant stakeholders.
