Nigerians and other eligible investors can now apply for shares in Dangote Petroleum Refinery as Keystone Bank joins the approved financial institutions receiving subscriptions for the landmark public offer.

The bank’s appointment as a receiving agent gives its customers and eligible non-customers access to the Initial Public Offering (IPO), which opened on Monday, September 14, with 4.1 billion ordinary shares on offer at N525 each.

The minimum subscription is 10 shares, valued at N5,250, while investors can apply for additional shares in line with the conditions set out in the offer documents. The offer is scheduled to close on October 13, 2026, subject to the provisions of the offer documentation.

Nnenna Anyim Okoro, Executive Director, Corporate Bank and South, Keystone Bank, said the bank’s role would help make participation in the offer accessible through its digital and physical channels.

“The Dangote Refinery Offer is more than an investment opportunity; it is an invitation for Nigerians to own a stake in an asset that is poised to contribute significantly to the nation’s industrial and economic future,” Okoro said.

She said Keystone Bank was committed to supporting investors with a seamless, secure and convenient subscription process.

Okoro urged prospective investors to undertake appropriate due diligence, carefully review the offer documentation and make informed decisions consistent with their financial goals.

The bank said investors should ensure that their personal and banking details, including their Bank Verification Number (BVN), are accurate and up to date before submitting applications.

Keystone Bank advised investors to subscribe only through approved channels and remain vigilant against fraudulent investment schemes.

It warned investors not to disclose their PINs, passwords or one-time passwords, or pay money into personal accounts in connection with the offer.

The Dangote Refinery public offer is structured to widen ownership of the refinery by providing retail investors, alongside institutional and other eligible investors, with an opportunity to participate in the enterprise.

Keystone Bank said its participation as a receiving agent would support wider participation in the transaction by providing investors with established channels through which to submit their applications.
