International Islamic Charity Organization Trains 400 Pakistani Students in Key Industries

The International Islamic Charity Organization (IICO) in Kuwait has successfully trained 400 students from Pakistan, empowering them with critical skills in Graphic Design, E-commerce, and Game Development. The three-month training program culminated in a certificate-awarding ceremony for students from the Gujrat and Burewala campuses of the Barani Institute of Sciences.

Professor Muhammad Ramzan, Director of Developmental Programs at IICO, emphasized the importance of equipping youth with market-relevant skills, stating, “Nations can only progress when their youth are skilled and trained to meet market demands.” He highlighted the role of educational institutions in fostering self-reliance among students, enabling them to contribute positively to society rather than becoming a burden.

The ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including Muhammad Ozkay, Director of IICO Pakistan; Hashmat Khalifa, representative of Islamic Help (UK); Syed Ejaz Hamdani, Head of IICO Pakistan; National Assembly Member Malik Qasim Nadeem; and Mian Muhammad Sajid, CEO of the Barani Institute of Sciences. Industrial lead trainers, teachers, and students also participated in the event.

Professor Ramzan also shared that IICO serves over 80 countries, offering professional training to underserved communities to help individuals secure stable jobs and contribute to national development.

Mian Muhammad Sajid explained that out of 900 applicants, 400 were selected for hands-on training in these in-demand fields. He proudly reported that 40% of the trainees have already secured employment, underscoring the importance of providing youth with the tools to build a brighter future.

National Assembly Member Malik Qasim Nadeem stressed the significance of involving youth in productive endeavors and commended both institutions for their role in offering practical training.

Several students, including Aneesa Habiba (E-commerce), Tahir Amjad (Graphic Design), and Ayman Shahid (Game Development), shared their success stories, noting how they secured jobs during their training.

Before the ceremony, Professor Ramzan reviewed the students’ projects, commending the quality of their work and praising Mian Muhammad Sajid and his team for organizing an exceptional training program.
