1. The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has visited pilgrims in Mina camps to assess the welfare and condition of the state contingent during the ongoing 2026 Hajj rites.
2. Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has visited Kaduna pilgrims in Mina and donated 300 Saudi Riyals to each pilgrim participating in the 2026 Hajj exercise.
3. Oyo State pilgrims have commenced the mandatory Jamaraat stoning ritual in Mina as pilgrims continue the final stages of the 2026 Hajj rites.
4. NAHCON Chairman, Ismail Abba Yusuf, has commended Osun pilgrims for what he described as disciplined and orderly conduct throughout the Hajj operations in Saudi Arabia.
5. The NAHCON Chairman also warned pilgrims against exceeding approved luggage limits ahead of return flights to Nigeria, stressing that excess baggage could be confiscated by Saudi airport authorities.
6. Osun officials also commended Governor Ademola Adeleke for supporting the welfare and smooth operations of the state’s pilgrims during the 2026 Hajj exercise.
7. Indonesian pilgrim, Mbah Marsiyah, aged 104, has been recognised as the oldest pilgrim to perform Hajj in 2026.
8. Thousands of pilgrims have started departing Mina after completing the stoning ritual at the three Jamarat pillars in one of the final rites of Hajj.
9. Saudi authorities say crowd movement at the Jamarat Bridge remained orderly as pilgrims moved between Mina and Makkah under a coordinated transportation and crowd management system.
10. Pilgrims who completed the rites before sunset on the second day of Tashreeq have started proceeding to Makkah to perform the Farewell Tawaf before departure from the holy sites.

11. The 12th of Dhul-Hijjah marks the second Day of Tashreeq, when pilgrims continue the stoning ritual at all three Jamarat in Mina.
12. The second Day of Tashreeq is often one of the busiest movement days of Hajj because many pilgrims prepare to leave Mina before sunset.
13. Pilgrims who complete the stoning on the 12th and depart Mina before sunset are permitted to conclude their stay early according to Islamic rulings.
14. Those who remain in Mina for the 13th of Dhul-Hijjah are considered to have completed the fuller form of the Days of Tashreeq observance.
15. The Days of Tashreeq are still considered days of celebration, remembrance of Allah, and continued Takbir after Eid al-Adha.
16. Many pilgrims describe the second Day of Tashreeq as emotionally reflective, as the realization sets in that Hajj is gradually coming to an end.
17. Even after completing most rituals, pilgrims continue reciting Talbiyah, Takbir, Qur’an, and personal supplications throughout Mina during Tashreeq days.
