Fountain University Records 100% Pass in MLS
Medical Laboratory Science students record a clean sweep in the 2026 professional examination, as university credits academic training and staff commitment.

Medical Laboratory Science students of Fountain University, Osogbo, have recorded a 100 per cent pass rate in the 2026 professional examination, in what the university described as another landmark academic achievement.
The university announced the result in a statement celebrating the performance of its students and commending the staff responsible for their professional training.
According to the university, the result reflects its continued emphasis on academic excellence, professional training and practical learning, as well as the dedication of its lecturers and the hard work of the students.
The institution said the performance further strengthened its position as an institution committed to producing healthcare professionals equipped with both technical competence and ethical values.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olayinka Ramota Karim, congratulated the students on the result and commended the Dean of the College of Basic Medical and Health Sciences, the Head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Science and members of the department for their contribution to the students’ success.
She praised their dedication, mentorship and commitment to maintaining what she described as the university’s tradition of producing graduates to high professional standards.
The Vice-Chancellor also acknowledged the support of parents, guardians and other stakeholders, saying their confidence and continued support remained important to the university community.
The university’s latest result adds to its efforts to strengthen professional education and prepare graduates for careers in Nigeria’s healthcare sector.
Fountain University, Osogbo, established by the Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), is a faith-based institution committed to combining academic excellence with moral and professional development.
