1. Sheikh Abdul Wahhab bin Zain Al-Abidin Al-Shaibi appointed the 78th Guardian of the keys to the Ka’abah in Makkah on Monday 24th of June 2024.

2. Saudi Ministry of Interior blames tourist companies from different countries for deceiving visitors by issuing visas not intended for Hajj and even encouraging some to stay in Makkah two months before the Hajj season.

3. 60,000 copies of the Holy Qur’ān in several languages gifted to departing pilgrims at Madīnah airport over the past two days.

4. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has received congratulatory messages from both China and Sri Lanka for the Kingdom’s outstanding performance in the 1445 Hajj exercise.

5. A total of 3,322 guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, have all departed from Saudi Arabia to their respective home countries.

6. The breakdown of guests sponsored by the Saudi Royal Family for Hajj is as follows: 2,000 pilgrims from the families of matyrs, prisoners and the wounded in Palestine especially in the Gaza strip; 1,300 people from 88 countries around the world and 22 family members of conjoined twins separated in the Kingdom.

7. Jordan announces 99 Hajj mortalities from her citizens, and another 21 currently hospitalized in Makkah.

8. Hajj mortalities only 0.07% of total pilgrims with the absence of epidemics while 83% of the fatalities were from those without Hajj permits.

9. Jordan launches investigation into illegal Hajj routes from her borders in the wake of 99 Jordanian Hajj mortalities in the just concluded Hajj exercise. Most of the dead had no Hajj permits.

10. We will not join issues with political leaders – NAHCON boss.

11. NAHCON begs pilgrims not to exceed the 8Kg hand luggage and 32Kg carrier bag.

12. Another Nigerian Pilgrim, Muhammad Na’Allah from Zamfara state has been honoured by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria for returning the sum of €1,750 which he found at the Haram in Makkah.

13. The 12th NAHCON return flight left Jeddah with 411 Kebbi State pilgrims at 7:00AM.

14. MaxAir flight airlifted 550 Nasarawa State pilgrims and 1 official from Jeddah to Abuja at exactly 1:10PM

15. 360 FCT pilgrims and 28 officials were airlifted by AIR PEACE at 1:47PM.

16. 430 Bauchi pilgrims and 112 Nasarawa pilgrims and 13 officials were airlifted from Jeddah to Abuja via Bauchi at 10:19 PM.

17. NAHCON airlifts 6,774 pilgrims in 14 flights.
