1. Saudi officials, volunteers and service providers tirelessly compete in serving pilgrims arriving at the Prophet’s Mosque in Al Madīnah.

2. 2,322 male and female Hajj pilgrims, hosted by the Saudi Royal Family for Hajj , have left the kingdom after completion of their Hajj rites for their respective home countries.

3. Saudi authorities have distributed so far almost 11,000 copies of the Qur’ān to pilgrims departing through five seaports and over 13,000 copies to pilgrims departing Taif International Airport. This is to meet their vision of gifting 1 million copies of the holy book to pilgrims.

4. Saudi breaks silence and reveals 1,301 deaths in this Hajj season with 83% of mortalities from pilgrims without a permit.

5. Over 1.3 Million Medical Services Rendered to Pilgrims in the 1445 Hajj season.

6. 1,403,640 pilgrims visited the Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa at the Prophet’s Mosque in Al Madīnah from the beginning of Dhul-Qa’adah till the end of the Hajj season.

7. Nigeria ranks as the country with the largest Hajj quota in Africa and fifth in the world.

8. The Niger state governor, Muhammad Umar Bago has blaimed the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria for hiccups encountered in the 2024 Hajj season. He called for probe on the 90 billion Naira subsidy issued by the Federal Government.

9. The Independent Hajj Reporters (IHR), has called on the National Assembly to centralize Hajj and to make it possible for pilgrims to pay their deposits directly to NAHCON to enable the commission meet its obligations in time. It also praised the Kaduna Hajj board for refunding to their pilgrims the excess in their Hadaya fee.

10. The Forum of Chief Executive Officers of State Pilgrims Welfare Board Agencies and Commissions have rejected the call by the Bauchi State Governor for state governments to take over most of the NAHCON’s responsibilities.

10. An Airpeace flight with 382 pilgrims from the FCT and 13 officials departed Jeddah to Abuja at 09:25AM.

11. 415 pilgrims from Kebbi State and 5 officials departed Jeddah on a Flynas flight at 11:41AM on the route to Birnin-Kebbi.

12. 407 Pilgrims from Ogun, Lagos and Osun State were airlifted in Jeddah at 3:48PM.

13. The 11th NAHCON return flight departed Jeddah with 546 Bauchi state pilgrims and 8 officials at exactly 9:14PM.

12. NAHCON airlifts almost 4,500 pilgrims in three days.
