1. Today, on the second day of Tashreeq, many pilgrims having completed the ritual of casting stones at the Jamarat, swiftly proceeded to the Grand Mosque to perform the Farewell Tawaf (circumambulation).
2. Prime Minister of the Republic of Niger Lamine Zeine Ali Mahaman left Jeddah today after having performed Hajj rituals.
3. The leadership of Egypt, Kuwait, and UAE and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb congratulates the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the occasion of the success of the Hajj season 1445 AH.
4. Saudi Ministry of interior hosted for Hajj 289 family members of military personnel who were killed or injured in the line of duty.
5. Green Taif Association implemented the “Hajj without Waste” initiative at the holy sites by distributing more than 10,000 cloth bags to collect pebbles from the Jamarat for pilgrims. This is to promote an eco-friendly environment.
6. The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque is prepared to receive the influx of pilgrims who come to the Grand Mosque to perform the farewell Tawaf (circumambulation) and complete Hajj rituals.
7. 60 inspection tours of slaughterhouses in Makkah and Al Madīnah were conducted ahead of the Eīd ul Adhā festival.
8. Saudi health ministry has served over 390,000 pilgrims and performed more than 28 open-heart surgeries, 720 cardiac catheterizations, and 1,169 dialysis sessions.
9. Saudi emergency 937 call center received over 47,000 calls from the beginning of the Hajj season.
10. To facilitate pilgrims’ performance of their Hajj rituals, Saudi authorities have designated specific gates for entry and exit in the Masjidil Harām in Makkah.

12. The city of Al Madīnah has indicated readiness to receive the first groups of pilgrims who will visit the Prophet’s Mosque after completing their Hajj rites in Makkah.

14. The governor of Borno state Prof Babagana Zulum in Makkah yesterday while appreciating the National Hajj Commission (NAHCON) for the improvement they recorded in terms of staff and pilgrims’ welfare on this year’s Hajj season also begs Nigerian pilgrims to reflect on peace, unity, tolerance.
15. Nigerian pilgrims camped in tents which is about 3.5km to the Jamarat.
16. Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf has given all the 3,121 pilgrims of Kano origin additional 100 Riyals.
17. The CEO of Sahad Stores Kano, Alhaji Mijinyawa has also given 50 Riyals each to pilgrims of Kano State.
18. Many Nigerian states’ and private tour operators’ pilgrims performed their stone throwing session at the Jamarah yesterday after Asr prayers.
19. The Governor of Nasarawa State Engineer Abdullahi Sule distributed 200 Saudi riyal as a sallah gift to each 1760 pilgrims from Nasarawa currently in Saudi Arabia for 2024 Hajj.
