1. Health Minister Fahd Al-Jalajel has urged pilgrims to avoid peak sun hours (11 am to 4 pm) when performing their remaining Hajj rituals.

2. 2,764 cases of heat stress were treated on the first day of Eid.

3. 916 million liters of water was distributed by the Saudi National Water Company (NWC) in Makkah and the other holy sites on the first day of Eid Al-Adha over 21 hours.

4. More than 900,000 Copies of the Holy Qur’ān will be gifted to Pilgrims’ departing the Kingdom through Al Madīnah Airports.

5. Over 310,000 calls related to Hajj were answered over the phone by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, and an additional 110,000 messages were sent through its WhatsApp service from the 1st of Dhul Qa’adah.

6. Over 200 women scouts participated in ensuring the security of the Grand Mosque through crowd management, directing worshippers, and offering aid to the elderly.

7. Around 5,500 dedicated health volunteers with specialized medical teams serve pilgrims in Makkah and the sites with high pilgrim concentration.

8. Saudi water board conduct more than 4,100 daily laboratory tests on water provided for pilgrims in Makkah during the Hajj season.

9. Over 126,000 Hajj pilgrims have benefited from a variety of healthcare services since the first day of Dhul-Qa’dah until the first of Eid Al-Adha.

10. Over 3,058 pilgrims with various ailments were admitted to hospitals and medical centers since the beginning of Dhul-Qa’dah.

11. The Communications, Space, and Technology Commission (CST) has announced that the performance report on telecommunications in Makkah and other holy sites during Eid Al-Adha, which shows that 44.8 million voice calls were made, over 38 million locally and 6.7 million internationally, all with a success rate exceeding 99%.

12. Plans are in place to begin the airlift of pilgrims who are through with their Hajj rites through 6 designated domestic and international airports across Saudi Arabia.

13. The Eīd ul Adhā sermon yesterday in the Masjidil Harām was translated into 20 international languages and projected to reach around 20 million beneficiaries.

14. Pilgrims under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah and Visit have praised the integrated quality services provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for millions of pilgrims in the holy sites every year.

15. Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, received yesterday at the Royal Court in Mina Palace several Princes, the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, senior scholars and sheikhs, GCC senior officials, ministers, and the commanders of the military sectors and scouts who are participating in this year’s Hajj exercise.

16. Over 36 million food commodities was sent to cater to pilgrims at the Mina Holy Site on the 10th day of Dhul-Hijjah, the first day of Eid Al-Adha.

17. The holy site of Mina is currently witnessing rain during the first day of Tashreeq.

18. Nigerian pilgrims commend NAHCON and Saudi Service providers for improved feeding arrangements at the Holy sites this year.

19. In order to ensure the well-being of pilgrims amidst high temperatures and to prevent heat stress, Pilgrims are restricted from the ritual of throwing stones from 11 am to 4 pm at the Jamarat Bridge.

20. Search ongoing for missing Ondo state pilgrim Salawudeen Saliu Sule who was seen last at Jamarat yesterday morning (16th of June).
