1. King Salman has issued a noble decree to host another 1,000 pilgrims from the families of martyrs and the wounded from the Gaza Strip to perform Hajj this year. This brings the total number of hosted pilgrims from Palestine to 2,000, within the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah and Visit.

2. The sermon to be delivered on Yaumul ‘Arafah will be translated in 20 languages and reach about 1 billion listeners globally in the largest ever translation project.

3. Saudi Ministry of Tourism has clarified that visit visas, do not permit holders to engage in Hajj rituals in accordance with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s regulations. It mandates a fine of SAR 10,000 for all citizens, residents, and visitors who violate Hajj regulations and instructions without a permit.

4. 70,000 pilgrims from Pakistan arrives in Saudi Arabia.

5. Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce have inspected 24,880 shops in Makkah and Al Madīnah before the beginning of Hajj to ensure they comply with the country’s business regulations.

6. The Transport General Authority has introduced an automated monitoring vehicle for the first time with the aim of overseeing all transportation means used by pilgrims in Makkah, Al Madīnah, and other holy sites, to ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and quality.

7. Saudi Ministry of Hajj warns against political activism and slogans during Hajj exercise.

8. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in Makkah has conducted 2,368 religious activities during the month of Dhul Qa’adah. A total of 484,112 individuals has benefited from these activities since inception.

9. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, has provided 24/7 medical clinics equipped with state-of-the-art equipments and facilities for pilgrims under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah and Visit. Also it has allocated a media center to cover exclusively events under the program.

10. Another 223 pilgrims from 15 countries under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program for Hajj, arrived in Makkah yesterday for Hajj.

11. The Masjidil Harām and the Prophet’s Mosque authorities aims to distribute one million translated copies of the Holy Quran as gifts to pilgrims by the end of the Hajj season 1445 AH.

12. Over 1.7 million cattle have arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to meet the demand of pilgrims for Hadaya at the holy site.

13. 2 Kwara and 1 Kebbi State pilgrims die in Al Madīnah and Makkah respectively raising the death toll of Nigerian Hajj pilgrims to 6.

14. NAHCON chairman promises to sanction any service provider found defaulting in services to pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.

15. 100% of Nigerian pilgrims have visited Al Madīnah prior to their coming to Makkah.

16. NAHCON officials visit Minna, Muzdalifah and ‘Arafah on familiarization visit ahead of the Hajj exercise.

17. The last NAHCON flight carrying 204 pilgrims from Sokoto, Zamfara, Niger, Kebbi, FCT and Bauchi States and the last batch of 174 officials including the top echelons of NAHCON were airlifted in the early hours of today from Sokoto via Abuja to Al Madīnah.

18. Nigerian pilgrims will begin their return journey from Saudi Arabia on 22nd of June, 2024 based on the order of departure from Nigeria.

19. Max Air successfully airlifts 24,729 Pilgrims from 15 states in 21 days, concludes ahead of schedule.

20. Aero Contractors ends airlift of Private Tour Operators pilgrims by 2:00PM on the Monday 10th June 2024.

21. NAHCON successfully completes the airlift of 50,865 Nigerian pilgrims to Saudi Arabia in 121 flights 72 hours before closure of Saudi airspace.
