By Abdullahi Yusuf
The Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has launched an intensive Quranic memorization program to enrich the spiritual and educational experiences of worshipers and pilgrims at the Grand Mosque during the mid-year school vacation.
This winter initiative focuses on helping participants memorize and recite the Holy Quran, fostering a stronger connection to its teachings. The program also emphasizes the Quran’s guidance in a structured and balanced manner.
Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs at the Two Holy Mosques, expressed the Presidency’s commitment to promoting Quranic education. “The Presidency is devoted to enriching the spiritual journey of pilgrims and worshipers with the Holy Quran, particularly during significant periods like the mid-year break,” he stated.
He added that the Presidency has consistently prioritized Quranic education, hosting both summer and winter programs for pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors. These efforts aim to ensure that the Quran remains central to the worshipers’ experience, offering guidance and inspiration.
Through initiatives like this, the Presidency underscores its mission to cater to the spiritual and educational needs of all visitors to the Two Holy Mosques, enhancing their connection to the House of God and its sacred teachings.
