Saudi Arabia Launches Pavilion and Digital Hub on Prophet Muhammad’s Legacy

Interactive exhibits and virtual tours enhance visitor experience at Islamic heritage center

Saudi Arabia launches a new pavilion and digital platform at the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization in Madinah, offering an immersive experience into the life and legacy of the Prophet Muhammad.

The additions were inaugurated by Prince Salman bin Sultan, governor of Madinah, in the presence of Mohammad Al-Issa, secretary-general of the Muslim World League and supervisor-general of the museum.

The newly unveiled pavilion features over 20 sections that document key historical, cultural, and social landmarks of Madinah during the Prophet’s era.

Highlights include a panoramic recreation of the Prophet’s Chamber, a simulated model of the Prophet’s Mosque construction, the Prophetic medicine tent, and a depiction of the Prophet’s daily life.

The museum also introduced a digital platform called Ithaf, which enables visitors to explore the Prophet’s biography through virtual tours.

The platform includes a multilingual digital library comprising over 350 books and encyclopedias focused on the Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah.

As part of his visit, the governor toured a dedicated pavilion showcasing Saudi Arabia’s contributions to serving the Holy Qur’an, Sunnah, and the Two Holy Mosques, and was briefed on the Kingdom’s efforts to promote Islam’s message globally.
