Sheikh Imam Daniyal Abiodun Shittabey 10 Year Remembrance

The Al-Imam Shitta Bey Foundation, Kaduna, hosted the 10th Year Remembrance Prayer and Award Presentation in honour of Sheikh Imam Daniyal Abiodun Shittabey (1923–2015).

The solemn gathering drew distinguished dignitaries, Islamic scholars, community leaders, and well-wishers. His Royal Highness, AMB. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli CFR, Emir of Zazzau, was ably represented by Alhaji Ishaq Bello, Oba of Yorubas in the Zazzau Emirate. Sheikh Solahudeen Inyass served as the Spiritual Father of the Day, while the Chief Imam of the Muslim Council of Nigeria, Sheikh Ahmad Aluko, led the opening prayer.

The event’s Chief Host, Sheikh Ibrahim Imam Shitta (Khalifah), alongside the Chairman of the Occasion, Alhaji Misbaudeen M. Bolarinwa, welcomed guests to a day of prayers, tributes, lectures, and award recognitions. Other key figures included Mallam Ibrahim Sulaiman (Sodiki), Mallam Yusuf Dauda (Ola Annabi), Sheikh Musa Sulaiman Tanke AL MUDEER, Khaleefa Ashir Albadawiy, Sheikh Hadi Imam Shittabey, and Sheikh Idris Baban Kawo, among many others.

The programme featured Qur’an recitations, spiritual songs, historical reflections, and the presentation of awards to outstanding personalities in honour of the late Sheikh’s enduring legacy.
