PHOTO NEWS: CMO Marks 20th Anniversary in Abuja

The Crystal Muslim Organisation (CMO) on Saturday marked its 20th anniversary with a public lecture in Abuja, as part of activities highlighting two decades of work in education, youth development and public enlightenment.
The anniversary lecture, held at the Maryam Babangida National Centre for Women Development, brought together Islamic scholars, government officials, traditional leaders and other stakeholders.
International Islamic scholar Dr Muhammad Salah delivered the keynote address on the theme “Pen and Revelation: The Sacred Role of Reading and Writing in Islam”, focusing on the place of knowledge, writing and intellectual engagement in Islamic tradition and contemporary society.
The event forms part of a two-day programme by the organisation, which was founded in 2006 by Muslim professionals committed to promoting education, literacy and social development.
