The President of the Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, has been named among 100 personalities featured in The PowerList 100 Season One: A Compendium of Power, a publication profiling influential and powerful figures in Nigeria.
The recognition comes alongside the inclusion of AbdulRauf’s essay, “Power and Influence: An Islamic View,” in the 538-page compendium, which brings together contributions from 50 Nigerian intellectuals, professionals, public servants, traditional rulers, advocates and business leaders.

In his essay, AbdulRauf examines leadership and influence from an Islamic perspective, addressing accountability, justice, service and the moral responsibilities associated with positions of authority.
Edited by media entrepreneur and cultural advocate Joseph Edgar, the publication features essays covering business, economics, technology, governance, religion, advocacy, culture and social development.
The 50 contributors subsequently nominated and profiled 100 personalities regarded within the publication as influential and powerful figures in the country. Each honouree is featured through a profile and a specially commissioned caricature.
Other contributors named in the compendium include Professor Kanyinsola Ajayi, the Olu of Warri, Dr Dakuku Peterside, Atedo Peterside and former Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola.
