Jaiz Bank explores technology collaboration with NOTAP
The visit brought together officials of the technology promotion agency and Nigeria’s pioneer non-interest bank as both organisations sought to strengthen collaboration in technology, innovation and institutional development.

Jaiz Bank Plc has received a delegation from the National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP) as both organisations explored opportunities for collaboration in technology, innovation and institutional development.

The delegation, led by the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of NOTAP, Dr Obiageli Edith Amadiobi, was received at the bank’s headquarters by Jaiz Bank’s management team, led by the Executive Director, Risk Management, Alhassan Abdulkarim.
Also on the delegation was Dr Jonas N. Nzeagwu of NOTAP’s Technology Transfer and Registration Department.
Jaiz Bank said the visit was aimed at strengthening collaboration in technology, innovation and institutional development. During the engagement, the NOTAP delegation highlighted the agency’s statutory role in regulating technology acquisition agreements and promoting technology acquisition, transfer, adaptation and commercialisation to support Nigeria’s economic and institutional development.

Jaiz Bank welcomed the delegation, with both organisations describing the visit as an opportunity for engagement on issues relating to innovation and institutional development.
