1. So far, 24,902 Nigerian pilgrims have been successfully airlifted to Saudi Arabia across 61 flight operations, according to NAHCON.
2. The FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has completed the airlift of 1,530 pilgrims via six flight for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
3. Saudi Arabia says it is ready to host about 5 million foreign pilgrims with over 900,000 arrived.
4. Nigeria has recorded another death. A pilgrim from Nasarawa State, Hajiya Rukayya Haliru, died in Makkah after a brief illness, bringing to two deaths, she has since been buried in makkah.
5. The highest contingent to this year’s Hajj comes from India, with 175,025 pilgrims.

6. The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency is calling on all pilgrims scheduled for the second flight for May 15 to report at the Mando Hajj Camp on May 14^th for final processing ahead of departure.
7. Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has appointed a five-member Hajj delegation comprising seasoned administrators, clerics, and government officials to oversee the 2026.
8. The Zamfara State Hajj Commission has fixed May 15 for the first flight of 560 pilgrims tomorrow, warning that failure to report for departure will lead to loss of Hajj slots under the E-Nusuk system.
9.Pilgrims must carry a mandatory Nusuk digital smart card for identification and access to Hajj sites.
