1. Over 41,000 Pakistani Hajj pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia via 170 flights. Over 28,000 more expected in 10 days.
2. The medical teams at the Madinah Cardiac Center has successfully performed the first open-heart surgery of this Hajj season on an Indonesian pilgrim in his sixties at Al Madīnah.
3. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has distributed so far 137,187 religious booklets to pilgrims at several locations in Madinah. it has also conducted 30 visits to inspect various mosques in Madinah, answered 440 inquiries from pilgrims and held several religious lectures to enhance pilgrims’ experience.
4. The Saudi Embassy in Bangladesh held a farewell ceremony on Sunday for 40 Bangladeshi pilgrims selected as part of the 1300 from 88 countries sponsored by the Saudi Royal Family for Hajj this year.
5. The first group of pilgrims from United Arab Emirates arrived for Hajj yesterday.
6. King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah has welcomed the first flight of pilgrims from Yemen.
7. Authorities in Saudi Arabia have announced the asphalt surface cooling initiative for roads in several locations within the holy sites. This initiative has already been implemented next to Namira Mosque in Arafat, covering an area of 25,000 square metres. This is to relief pilgrims as temperature can be as high as 70°C
8.  Haramain High Speed Railway is scheduled to conduct more than 3,800 trips in this Hajj season. It will be conducting as high as 126 trips daily in the service of pilgrims. The 453-kilometre railway passes through its main station in Jeddah linking Makkah and Madinah and runs at 300Kms/hour.
9. Saudi Health Ministry is yet to issue permits for any country to run clinics in Makkah. NAHCON advises Nigerian pilgrims in need of medical attention to get it at any Saudi hospital in Makkah for the main time.
10. The first batch of Pilgrims consisting of 314 from Ondo’s State left for Al Madīnah yesterday through Ilorin International Airport.
11. Airlift of Katsina State Intending Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj pilgrims is set to commence next week.
12. NAHCON’s Feeding Committee has catered to the needs of not less than 23,000 Nigerian pilgrims since the beginning of the Hajj season.
13. The 70th Hajj flight from Nigeria departed Lagos via Sokoto carrying 360 pilgrims and 46 officials from Lagos, Osun, Ogun, Sokoto and Kebbi States at 11:03AM today.
14. NAHCON has cautioned pilgrims against smuggling prohibited items like illicit drugs, kola nuts, cigarettes into Saudi Arabia. There is a capital punishment in place for violators.
15. 415 pilgrims and 5 officials from Kaduna landed in Al Madīnah today at exactly 12:13PM Nigerian time.
16. NAHCON advises State Pilgrims Boards to collaborate fully with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to nab persons planning to smuggle prohibited items into Saudi Arabia before leaving the shores of the country. This is to avoid embarrassment to the country and block unnecessary delays during screenings of the pilgrims in both countries.
17. Currently, about 30,000 Nigerian pilgrims have been airlifted to Saudi Arabia by NAHCON in 71 flights.
