The Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria, FOMWAN, is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1985 to empower Muslim women through various social, educational, health, and economic initiatives.

It is a major umbrella body with chapters in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, aiming to support national growth and provide services to its members.

FOMWAN’s work includes promoting education and skills, providing humanitarian aid, and advocating for the rights and welfare of women and children.
