1. The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hussein Brahim Taha has praised and congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the successful completion of the Hajj exercise.

2. Saudi authorities have innovated a medical capsule utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) to conduct comprehensive medical checks within 6 minutes for security personnel during this year’s Hajj season 1445 AH.

3. In order to receive the influx of pilgrims pouring into Al Madīnah, Saudi authorities installed special cooling facilities in the Prophet’s Mosque to curb the high rising temperature in the region.

4. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has begun issuing Umrah visas to interested pilgrims around the world.

5. Pilgrims who have successfully completed their Hajj rituals in Makkah begin departure to their home countries.

6. The Municipality of Al Madīnah disinfected over 7,000 sites across the city and utilized over 32,000 liters of disinfectants and pesticides to ensure a healthy and safe environment for all.

7. The 3,322 guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit begin to arrive in Madinah on Tuesday, 20th of June after completing their Hajj rites in Makkah.

8. The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques announced the successful execution of its operational plan for the Hajj season 1445 AH.

9. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) in patnership with major international and Islamic news agencies covering the 1445 Hajj exercise visited the Prophet’s Mosque and several historical landmarks in Al Madīnah.

10. The City of Al Madīnah will receive 610,000 cubic meters of water daily from the Saudi National Water Company (NWC). This is to provide water services to pilgrims and tourist visiting the city following the Hajj season.

11. Indian pilgrims took to social media to berate Hajj Committee of India (HCI) officials for overcrowding of pilgrims and poor service delivery at Mina and Arafah.

13. The General Authority for the Two Holy Mosques welcomed pilgrims with gifts upon their arrival at the Prophet’s Mosque.

14. Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has promises refund of $50 to its pilgrims, following the downward price review it got from the company that it engaged to slaughter animals on their behalf.

15. NAHCON organizes post – Arafah conference in Makkah

16. Every Nigerian pilgrim will not exceed 38 days in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia before returning to Nigeria.

17. NAHCON honours Mallam Abba Saad Limawa a pilgrim from Jigawa State who returned a lost bag full of foreign currencies to authorities.

18. The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) announced that Nigerian pilgrims will begin departure to Nigeria from Saudi Arabia on Saturday June 22, 2024 with three flights carrying pilgrims from Kebbi, Nasarawa and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

19. Nigeria will operate at least three different flights daily from the beginning of the return airlift until conclusion.
