1. Saudi Arabia Ministry of Hajj and Umrah releases timetable for Hajj 1446 Hijri at Hajj farewell ceremony organized in Makkah.

2. Pakistani Ministry of Religious Affairs congratulates the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the successful completion of the Hajj season for 1445 AH.

3. Saudi Arabia plans to distribute about 1 million copies of the Holy Qur’ān in various languages as farewell gift to pilgrims.

4. The first group of over 85,000 pilgrims from Bangladesh who took part in this year’s Hajj began to return home after completing their final Hajj rituals in Makkah.

5. Palestinians, especially those from Gaza, who are families of martyrs and those injured from the Gaza Strip, sponsored by the Saudi Royal Family expressed their sincere appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for inviting them to perform the Hajj this year.

6. Saudi authorities issued over 42,853 “Seasonal Visas” for workers in various professions who served pilgrims in this year’s Hajj season.

7. Nigeria gets a quota of 95,000 pilgrims for the next Hajj season in 1446 Hijri.

8. The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) Chairman Mallam Jalal Ahmad Arabi has urged States’ Hajj Board and private tour operators to adhere to the Saudi timeline released for the next Hajj season.

9. NAHCON confirms the death toll of Nigerian pilgrims as 15.

10. The Governor of Gombe State, Alh Inuwa Yahaya bestows Sallah largesse of SR200 each to Gombe State pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.

11. The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has confirmed the death of 15 Nigerian pilgrims, in the ongoing hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia.

12. Over 5000 bags containing different food items and ingredients for making local Nigerian dishes for Nigerian pilgrims were shipped by NAHCON to Saudi Arabia before the beginning of the Hajj season.

13. 2,856 Nigerian pilgrims received treatment from NAHCON medical team in Saudi Arabia during the Hajj exercise.

14. Ithraa Alkhair, the Nigeria-approved service provider for Nigerian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia recruited and transported about 50 workers from Nigeria to make local Nigerian dishes for pilgrims.

15. Ahead of the inaugural return flight to Nigeria scheduled for the 22nd of June 2024, Nigerian Hajj officials begin collection of 32 kg luggage from each FCT pilgrim in the first flight. They can have hand luggage not exceeding 8kg.

16. There will be three return flights carrying pilgrims from Kebbi, Nasarawa and the FCT on Saturday 22nd of June 2024.
