1. The sermon on Yaumul ‘Arafah will be translated into 50 languages and will reach about a billion listeners.

2. Makkah police have arrested nine Pakistani residents and two Indians on visit visas for their involvement in fraud and forgery related to counterfeit Hajj Nusuk cards.

3. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance has prepared 917 mosques and prayer halls in Madinah and its affiliated governorates for the Eid Al-Adha prayer this year.

4. Hajj 2024 begins properly tomorrow Yaumut Tarwiyah 8th, Dhul-Hijjah 1445AH (14th of June 2024)

5. The “Makkah Route” Initiative, one of the initiatives of the Ministry of Interior within the Pilgrim Experience Program for Hajj 1445 has transported totally in Malaysia, Pakistan, Turkiye, Morocco, Indonesia.

6. The Saudi Ministry of Health reports that over 32,000 medical and administrative staff have been deployed across several health facilities, with more than 5,000 doctors of various specialties.

7. The Hajj Media Hub, held in Makkah from June 10 to 16, continues to welcome media delegations and visitors. The hub is utilizing interactive digital technologies to serve over 150 local, Arab, Islamic, and international media outlets and more than 1,500 local and international media professionals in the coverage of the Hajj exercise.

8. According to the Saudi Ministry of Health, as many as 5,466 male and female health and first aid volunteers are participating in this year’s Hajj season 1445 H. The volunteers have served for more than 72,000 hours already in more than 16 service locations in Makkah, Madinah, and the holy sites.

9. The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Alsheikh, received today in Mishar Mina President of Al-Azhar University Dr. Salama Dawoud.

10. The Institute of Research, Studies, and Consulting Services at Umm Al-Qura University is scheduled to conduct around ten specialized advisory studies aimed at improving services provided to pilgrims during the Hajj season of 1445 AH. The institute has conducted more than 350 training programs covering diverse skills related to Hajj, benefiting some 160,000 individuals across the various sectors.

11. NAHCON organises a Pre-Arafah meeting between top officials and major stakeholders in Makkah last night explaining the schedules for the movement of Nigeria pilgrims to Mina, Muzdallifah and Arafat.

12. 1,869 Lagos State pilgrims proceed to Mina for the beginning of the Hajj rituals.

13. Kaduna State pilgrims set to leave Makkah to Mina.
