Pakistan’s Hajj 2025 Application Deadline Ends Tomorrow

In a recent development, over 72,000 applications have been submitted for Hajj 2025, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.

With the end date for the government scheme approaching fast on Tuesday, Muhammad Umar Butt, spokesperson for the ministry, said that applications for the Government Hajj Scheme shall be collected at designated banks on Monday and Tuesday. This offers applicants the chance to join a group organized by relatives, making it more convenient.

Any applicant intending to participate in theRegular Hajj Scheme should deposit Rupees 200,000 at commencement followed by a subsequent deposit of Rupees 400,000 which includes additional services within ten days after the balloting. Final payments must be made by February 10.

Moreover, overseas Pakistanis may themselves or their relatives file Hajj 2025 applications as sponsors to perform the Holy Pilgrimage through them.

Umar briefed that the initiative not only provides an opportunity to all applicants but also the smooth and transparent conducting of the Hajj process. He also announced that the 40th Annual National Hifz and Qirat Competition has been launched which is open for nominations from all four provinces, besides Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

National winners would be accorded the chance to represent Pakistan at international competitions by displaying their talents at the international level.

In this year’s competition, there are categories created for boys, girls, and youth, hence offering equality to all applicants regardless of age and region. The initiative pushes Quranic education while catering to the development of youthful talents all around the country.
