Nawair-Ud-Deen President Visits Osun Zone, Tasks Branches on Educational Expansion

By Alhaji Ganiyu Ayinla Balogun

The National President of Nawair-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Alhaji Chief Ganiyu Ayinla Balogun, led a high-powered delegation to Osun Zone on Sunday, July 27, 2025, as part of his ongoing nationwide engagements with zonal branches.

The visit, held at the NUDS Central Masjid, Ikire, Osun State, saw the president warmly received at Naira and Kobo Junction by a delegation led by the Osun Zonal Vice President, Alhaji Yaqub Arogunmasa.

All ten branches under the Osun Zone including Oshogbo, Ede, Gbongan, Ilesha, Otan-Ile, Ikire, Inisha, Ikoyi, and Iwo were commended for their dedication to the Society’s ideals and operations. The president urged each branch to promptly open dedicated bank accounts, noting that the Society’s registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) is in good standing.

Alhaji Balogun also issued a strong charge to the branches to establish madrasahs and, at minimum, nursery and primary schools before the end of 2025.

Reinforcing his administration’s commitment to education, the president announced that the proposed Nawair-Ud-Deen National Nursery and Primary School would soon be tabled before the Board of Trustees (BOT) and National Executive Council (NEC), aligning with promises made in his presidential acceptance speech earlier this year.

He further assured members that Osun Zone and others would benefit from the annual NUDS Educational Support initiative, sponsored by the Adewuyi Adeniji Foundation. He gave an update on the Society’s College of Nursing at Kila-Ilugun, stating that documentation for its establishment is already underway.

The Zonal Women’s Wing received appreciation for their consistent commitment. Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Youth Wing in Lagos Zone, Alhaji Ibrahim Aderupoko, expressed concern over the underperformance of some youth branches within the zone, calling for renewed energy and vision. He assured that actively performing branches would receive encouraging support.

The Mission Board was lauded for its spiritual guidance and urged to maintain its fatherly oversight across the zone.
