MWL Slams Iran’s Attacks on Arab States

The league says, actions violates religious values, extends condolences to Kuwait

The Muslim World League (MWL) has condemned what it described as Iran’s continued attacks on a number of countries in the region.

Disclosed in a statement, the MWL General Secretariat said the actions portrays clear aggression against peaceful neighbouring states. It stressed that such conduct violates religious values, international law, humanitarian standards, bilateral agreements, and the principles of good neighbourly relations.

MWL also criticised the targeting of civilians and facilities, as well as the fear inflicted on innocent people during this month of Ramadan.

The league commended the affected countries for their calmness and responsible response, as the focused countries focuses on their commitment to protecting their territories and citizens, preserving regional security and stability, and avoiding further escalation and its serious consequences.

MWL also expressed condolences to the State of Kuwait over the killing of two members of the Kuwait Armed Forces who died while carrying out their national duty.
