Islamic Emirate, Aid Groups Fund 113 Projects in Afghanistan’s Zabul Province

The deputy governor of Zabul province announced during a press conference that 113 development projects have been completed across the province since the beginning of the current year.
According to source, Mawlavi Mahbullah Hamas, the deputy governor, stated that the projects include the procurement of construction equipment and medicines, the construction of roads, drinking water and irrigation networks, water dams, schools, retaining walls, and markets. These initiatives were funded by the Islamic Emirate and international aid organizations.
He added that 54 of these projects were financed by the Islamic Emirate, while 59 were supported by international donors. Some of the projects are nearing completion and will soon become operational.
The deputy governor also highlighted that the implementation of these projects has created job opportunities for around 52,000 people. Additionally, humanitarian aid worth 138 million Afghanis, including food and non-food items, has been distributed in the province.
