Inside Hafsat & Ahmed’s Wedding Fatiha

The much-anticipated nuptial of Dr. Hafsat A. Abdullahi and Ahmed Mohammed held in Abuja with a grand Fatiha and a joyous reception

The families of Dr. Adamu Ahmed Abdullahi (Sa’in Jama’are) and Alhaji Mohammed Chubado (Sarkin Yamman Girei) on Saturday hosted the wedding Fatiha of their children, Dr. Hafsat A. Abdullahi and Ahmed Mohammed, at the Al-Noor Mosque, Wuse II, Abuja.

The solemn marriage rites, which drew relatives, friends, and associates from within and outside the Federal Capital Territory, were conducted under Islamic injunctions in the presence of scholars and family elders.

Soon after the prayers at Al-Noor Mosque, guests proceeded to BMT Gardens and Recreation, where a reception was held. The event received a diverse array of guests.

The marriage comes a day after the colourful Kamu ceremony, where friends and family of the bride had staged the traditional Hausa rite marked by playful negotiations and words of advice.

The couple, their families, and well-wishers expressed delight at the success of the ceremonies, describing the occasion as a memorable union of two respected households.
