- As of today, 18,843 Nigerian pilgrims have been successfully airlifted to Saudi Arabia across 45 flight operations, according to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.
- Sokoto State recorded another outbound operation this morning as a flight departed Sokoto for Madinah at 06:21hrs carrying 484 pilgrims.
- A 73-year-old Nigerian pilgrim from Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Mallama Aishatu Muhammadu, has died in Saudi Arabia after suffering cardiac arrest while travelling from Jeddah to Madinah.
- Niger State has formally commenced its 2026 Hajj airlift, with the first batch of 345 pilgrims scheduled to depart from Minna under the Kingdom’s E-Nusuk grouping system.
- Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has approved free Hadaya for all Katsina pilgrims participating in the 2026 Hajj exercise with each pilgrim receiving 500 US dollars Basic Travelling Allowance support.
- Katsina State also secured a ₦3.8 billion loan facility to ensure full utilization of its allocated Hajj slots after earlier financial constraints threatened participation.
- A total of 240 officials have been deployed by Katsina State to provide medical, spiritual, and logistical support services to pilgrims throughout the exercise.
- Governor Abba Yusuf has donated 200 Saudi Riyals to each Kano pilgrim and urged them to serve as good ambassadors of Kano State and Nigeria during their stay in the Holy Land.
- Saudi security forces have arrested a Saudi citizen for attempting to transport three Egyptian residents into Makkah without valid Hajj permits by bypassing security checkpoints through desert routes.

10. If a woman gets her menstrual period during Hajj, she is still rewarded for her intention and participation, and she may perform all rites except Tawaf until she is purified.
11. Women, the elderly, and the weak can appoint a proxy to perform Rami on their behalf if it’s too dangerous or difficult.
12. Each pilgrim throws a total of 49 stones during Hajj, or 70 if staying longer for the full tashreeq days(11th to 13th Dhul Hijjah).

14. Women can perform Hajj on behalf of a deceased person or someone unable to go, just like men.
