1. As at now, a cumulative 16,456 Nigerian pilgrims have been airlifted across 39 flights since the commencement of the 2026 Hajj airlift on May 3.
2. Adamawa State commenced its airlift today as MaxAir flight VM3013 departed Yola for Madinah at 04:38hrs carrying 552 pilgrims comprising 346 males and 206 females.
3. Ondo State has completed its airlift operations, with 822 intending pilgrims and two officials arriving safely in Madinah.
4. Osun State has also concluded the transportation of 982 intending pilgrims, with the final batch arriving safely in Madinah.
5. Senegal has commenced its 2026 Hajj operations, with the first batch of pilgrims arriving in Madinah from Dakar.
6. Pakistan has so far airlifted 48,000 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia, with 38,584 currently in Makkah out of its total allocation of 179,210 pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj.
7. Saudi police have arrested 18 residents accused of forging Nusuk cards, residency permits, and Hajj wristbands in a major security crackdown in Makkah.
8. Syria has also begun its Hajj airlift, with 680 pilgrims departing Damascus International Airport aboard two flights to Saudi Arabia.
