Golden Words of Allah

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficial, the Most Merciful

Allah, the almighty says concerning:

1. Inheritance

“Allah decrees a will for your children; the male gets twice the share of the female. If the heirs are women, more than two, they receive two-thirds of the estate. If only one daughter is left, she gets one-half. The deceased’s parents are each entitled to one-sixth if he has left offspring. If he left no children and his parents are the only heirs, his mother gets one-third. If he has siblings, his mother gets one-sixth after fulfilling any will the deceased has left and after paying all debts. Your parents or your children – you know not which of them are nearest to you in benefit. [These shares are] an obligation [imposed] by Allah. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.” (Surah Nisa’a, verse 11)

2. Women’s rights

“The believers, both men and women, are allies of one another. They enjoin good, forbid evil, establish Prayer, pay Zakah, and obey Allah and His Messenger. Surely Allah will show mercy to them. Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.” (Surah At-Tawbah, verse 71)

3. Deception

“Whoever is spared from the Fire and is admitted into Paradise will indeed triumph, whereas the life of this world is no more than the delusion of enjoyment.” (Surah Ali ‘Imran, verse 185)

4. Prophet’s wives

“It is no sin on them (the Prophet’s wives, if they appear unveiled) before their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their brother’s sons, or the sons of their sisters, or their own (believing) women, or their (female) slaves, and keep your duty to Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Ever AllWitness over everything.” ( Surah Al-Ahzab , verse 33)
