Golden Words of Allah

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Allah, the Exalted, says concerning:

1. Strict Orders for Observance of Obligatory Salat

“Guard strictly (the five obligatory) As-Salawat (the prayers) especially the middle Salat (i.e., the best prayer- `Asr).” (Quran 2:238)

2. Excellence of Simple Living and being Content with Little

“Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have given up As-Salat (the prayers) [i.e., made their Salat (prayers) to be lost, either by not offering them or by not offering them perfectly or by not offering them in their proper fixed times] and have followed lusts. So they will be thrown into Hell. Except those who repent and believe (in the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger Muhammad (PBUH)), and work righteousness. Such will enter Jannah and they will not be wronged in aught.” (Quran 19:59-60)

3. Hopeful of Allah’s Mercy

“Certainly no one despairs of Allah’s Mercy, except the people who disbelieve.” (Quran 12:87)

4. Bounties of Allah prepared for the Believers in Paradise

“Truly, the Muttaqun (the pious and righteous persons) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Jannah). (It will be said to them): `Enter therein (Jannah), in peace and security.’ And We shall remove from their breasts any deep feeling of bitterness (that they may have). (So they will be like) brothers facing each other on thrones. No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it.’‘ (Quran 15:45-48)

5. Seeking Forgiveness

“And whoever does evil or wrongs himself but afterwards seeks Allah’s forgiveness, he will find Allah Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Quran 4:110)
