Pantami Gifts Winner Of Qur’anic Competition Car, Scholarship.
Former minister of communication and digital economy Professor Isa Ali Pantami has gifted a car and granted a scholarship to the Gombe State indigene, Hajara Ibrahim, who emerged as the overall winner of an international Qur’anic recitation competition held in Jordan.
The ex-minister announced the gift of a car and scholarship for the girl when he received her on Monday night in Gombe.
Hajara, a 19-year-old student of Gombe State University (GSU) won the competition having beaten participants from 39 other nations.
Pantami congratulated the young student and commended her for her efforts saying she would make the state and country proud.
He then promised to support her education at the university and gifted her a car.
