1. All pilgrims from Nasarawa, Kogi, Oyo, Edo, Plateau states and Armed Forces have all been safely returned to Nigeria.

2. No recorded cases of COVID-19 among Nigerian pilgrims either in the Kingdom or returnees – NAHCON.

3. 95% of Nigerian Hajj mortalities died from effects of Heat Stroke, Trauma/RTA, fall from height, and mainly Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).

4. Zamfara, Katsina, Adamawa, Taraba, Sokoto, Gombe, and the South-South states scheduled to begin airlift soon.

5. The last NAHCON’s return flight is scheduled on the 19th of July 2024.

7.Kwara State Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) apprehends fake agent for defrauding Man of N4.5 million naira for fake Hajj slots.

8. On Tuesday 2nd of July 2024, a Flynas flight departed Jeddah to Lagos at exactly 4:14PM with 427 Pilgrims from Osun and Sokoto States and 2 Officials.

9. 412 pilgrims from Borno and Yobe were airlifted on Wednesday, 3rd of July 2024 by Flynas from Jeddah to Maiduguri at 02:36AM and 18 Officials.

10. The 50th NAHCON flight airlifts the first batch of Kano state pilgrims to return. The crew which consists of 554 pilgrims and 5 officials left Jeddah for Kano at 5:51AM.

11. Max Air flew 522 Kaduna State Pilgrims and 35 Officials from Jeddah to Kaduna at 7:06AM.

12. 311 Kwara State pilgrims and three from Rivers State were airlifted by Air Peace from Jeddah to Ilorin at 7:56AM.

13. Another Max Air flight departs Jeddah to Kaduna at 12:44PM with 409 Kaduna Pilgrims and 4 Officials.

14. 22,883 Nigerian pilgrims in 53 flights have returned from the Holy land after completing their Hajj exercise.
