1. A group of 100 pilgrims from Cape Town have departed South Africa for the 2025 Hajj, joining the growing influx of international pilgrims.

2. Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) confirms completion of facility upgrades at Lagos Hajj terminal to ensure smooth airlift operations.

3. UK health authorities begin administering meningitis vaccines to Hajj-bound pilgrims from the West Midlands region.

4. A civil society group CSO has called on all officials and stakeholders serving Hajj pilgrims to prioritise honesty, patience and fear of God in their duties.

5. Saudi Arabia prepares a fleet of over 25,000 buses and 9,000 taxis to transport millions of pilgrims during this year’s Hajj season.

6. Makkah authorities allocate 429,232 hotel rooms capable of accommodating 1.8 million pilgrims.

7. In Madinah, 6,432 personnel and 825 machines have been deployed to serve pilgrims around the clock.

8. Nigeria’s 2025 inaugural Hajj flight takes off Friday, from Owerri airport with 315 pilgrims from Imo, Abia, and Bayelsa states via Air Peace.

9. Simultaneously, three other inaugural flights will also depart Friday, lifting 2,213 pilgrims from Bauchi, Kebbi, Osun, Niger, and Lagos states aboard Flynas and Max Air.
