1. Saudi Arabia bids farewell to the last batch of pilgrims from Iraq passing through the Jadidatul Arar crossing in the northern border region of the Kingdom.

2. 78 cases of Covid-19 infection detected from Senegalese pilgrims returning from Hajj. They have been advised to wear nose masks and self isolate.

3. Ithraa AlKhair, a Saudi based service provider that served Nigerian pilgrims and many other countries bade farewell to 2024 hajj pilgrims after performing hajj.

4. Despite hiccups in the 2024 Nigerian Hajj exercise, decentralization of NAHCON’s Hajj operations not the solution. – Independent Hajj Reporters.

5. The Concerned Hajj Operators of Nigeria (COHOON) has responded to allegations levied against the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) by the Lagos state Amirul Hajj some days ago. It said shortcomings were not caused by NAHCON but by inadequate preparations on the part of the state’s pilgrim Board.

6. Nigerian Private Hajj operators have called for the reduction of license fee to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria for Hajj operations that will not exceed 2 months.

7. The NAHCON Chairman met with all services’ providers to Nigerian pilgrims at the commission’s office in Makkah on the 28th of June 2024. He implored them to be on their toes at all time in terms of quality and quantity of service to Nigerian pilgrims.

8.The Soun of Ogbomoso (in South Western Nigeria), Oba Ghandi Olaoye, has come under heavy criticism by Muslims on social media for issuing a query to the Chief Imam of Ogbomoso Land, Shiek Taliat Yunus Olusina Ayilara for going to Hajj without his permission.

9. The Oluwo of Iwo ( in Osun State) Oba Abdul Rasheed Akanbi Telu I performs first Jumuah prayers after returning from Hajj amidst heavy crowd who trooped to the town’s central mosque to greet the monarch.

10. The 24th NAHCON return flight on the 27th of June 2024 departed from Jeddah to Lagos with 427 Ogun State pilgrims at 3:54PM.

11. An Air Peace flight departed Jeddah onward to Ilorin at exactly 02:09AM with 313 Kwara State Pilgrims and 1 Official.

12. At exactly 5:56AM, 428 Kebbi State pilgrims were airlifted at Jeddah by a FlyNas flight to Birnin-Kebbi.

13. NAHCON airlifts 11,486 Nigerian pilgrims in 27 flights.
