Chinese Consul General in Bandar Abbas, Xu Wei, Meets Islamic City Council Chairman

Consul General Xu communicated the guiding principles of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and introduced Chinese policies on ethnic affairs upon request.

Xu said, the Islamic City Council of Bandar Abbas attaches great importance to the relation with China and supports people of various sectors to strengthen friendly exchanges with China, fostering a good atmosphere for deepening cooperation in various fields. The Consulate General stands ready to stay in close contact with the City Council to facilitate cooperation at subnational levels, which will benefit our peoples and forge closer bonds between them.

Abbasi said, the Islamic City Council of Bandar Abbas wholeheartedly admires the great achievements of Chinese Modernization and commits to developing friendly relations with China. The City Council looks forward to carrying out mutually beneficial cooperation within the sister-city framework and boarding the express train of China’s high-quality development.
