Ahmadiyya Youth in Southall Lead Community Programmes

Young members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association UK in Southall have been carrying out a range of community, educational and wellbeing activities during 2026.
The initiatives are being organised through Darus Salaam Mosque in Southall, where the youth group has focused on promoting service, unity and positive engagement among young people.
One of the recent programmes was a Ta‘lim educational session that discussed global conflicts and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’s well-known message, “Love for All, Hatred for None.”
Around 10 young people attended the interactive event, which included questions and discussions on peace, compassion and unity in today’s world.
Mudasar Ahmed, spokesperson for Southall Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth, said the activities are designed to strengthen community spirit while helping young people understand how faith can guide responses to modern challenges.
Volunteering has also remained a major part of the group’s efforts. Eight young members recently assisted organisers during a regional women’s gathering held across several venues, helping with logistics and coordination.
The group has also introduced “Fajr Fit” sessions, which combine the early morning Fajr prayer with group exercise. Organisers said the programme aims to improve physical wellbeing while also building stronger social bonds among participants.
The activities reflect ongoing efforts by the youth association to support personal development, faith-based values and service to the wider community.
