The proud moment for the Nigerian delegation was the intermittently beaming of Aero Contractors Airlines messages and logo on the 72 meters diameter hexagonal broadcast Screen

Like a diamond in the Sky, the new face of Nigeria’s resilience in Hajj Airlifting, the Aero Contractors Airline, Nigeria, at the recently concluded Hajj and Umrah Conference & Exhibition 2024 at the Jeddah Superdome in Saudi Arabia, dazzles participants and visitors at the prestigious annual event. Aero Contractors Airline was the centre of attraction at the Aviation pavilion of the exhibition, being the only Nigerian Airline that attended and exhibited her worth at the 3-day conference and exhibition.

The Conference and Exhibition was an annual event that united prominent thinkers, innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs while striving to improve pilgrimage services. The Conference was a crucial platform for fostering regional and international conversations with diverse Arab and Islamic communities. The conference featured scientific sessions, workshops, and training seminars led by distinguished decision-makers, experts, and academics. The exhibition centred on service providers in Local transportation, Aviation, healthcare, logistics, supply, insurance cover, communications, catering and discussions on various topics, including the media’s role in disseminating information about Hajj rituals.

The Jeddah Superdome is a structure that never ceases to amaze its visitors. It is the largest freestanding building, the largest geodesic dome, and the largest connected roof dome in the world. The technology used makes the visitor experience memorable. The dome is fully air-conditioned and operates with sophisticated visual systems, such as the hexagonal screen in the centre, with a diameter of 72 meters, consisting of 22 million pixels and 4 thousand resolutions to transmit sound and images with unparalleled clarity via the 132 loudspeakers that were accurately station in the dome. The proud moment for the Nigerian delegation was the intermittently beaming of Aero Contractors Airlines messages and logo on the 72 meters diameter hexagonal broadcast Screen in the centre of the Jeddah Superdome projecting a 22 million pixels high-resolution image of her logo and sound with unparalleled clarity on the 132 loudspeakers accurately distributed throughout the dome to the amazement of all. It stands shoulder to shoulder with other veterans of Hajj airlifting at the Conference.  Hon. Abubakar Muhammed Maifata, the Chairman of Umza Aviation Services, Captain. Sanusi Ado Karaye, Managing Director of Aero Contractors Airline, Alhaji Liman Muhammad Usman, the Director of Umrah & Hajj Operations for the Airline, used the auspicious time at the Conference to had direct meetings with heads of delegations from many countries in Sub West Africa countries, fostering opportunities for meaningful exchanges and collaboration.  The Honourable Minister of Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs also visited the Airline platform with others to have firsthand information on the Airline’s readiness for 2024 Hajj operations.

Many may want to recall that the Airline was an indelible discovery during the last Hajj operations. Aero Contractors Airline got the least allocation from the 2023 Hajj airlift slots but by the time it completed the outbound operations, it left no one in doubt of its capacity. The inbounds operation was like the icing on the cake for its performance in an industry where even a long-timer can be a Slouch of the season. The airline displayed the can-do spirit of Nigerians and exploited the Hajj 1444 window to tell the world that Nigerian spirits can always rise to the occasion. In 2023, Hajj airlifting Aero Contractors Airlines exhibited an alliance of skills, willpower, and focus. The team behind the successful operations deployed an unwavering army of intelligent foot soldiers as workers for the last operations.
