1. So far, 33,826 Nigerian pilgrims have been successfully airlifted to Saudi Arabia across 83 flight operations, according to NAHCON.
2. A flight today departed Kano to Jeddah via Katsina at 00:15hrs with 401 pilgrims and 10 officials onboard.
3. NAHCON says no fewer than 54 Nigerian pilgrims have received medical attention in Saudi Arabia during the ongoing 2026 Hajj exercise, while four deaths have so far been recorded.
4. The Head of the National Medical Team NAHCON says most affected pilgrims were discharged same day, with heat and stress worsening health conditions among pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.
5. NAHCON currently operates five licensed clinics in Saudi Arabia, including two in Madinah and three in Makkah for Nigerian pilgrims.
6. More than 24 patients have been referred to Saudi hospitals in Madinah, while over 30 referrals were made from Makkah clinics, especially the Misfalah clinic serving pilgrims from about 19 states.
7. The commission says unlike previous years where outposts handled minor health complaints, Saudi regulations this year only permitted full clinic operations, increasing pressure on the clinics.
8. Pakistan says it has prepared emergency plans to airlift pilgrims home if the US-Iran conflict resumes and disrupts regional air travel.
9. Pakistani authorities say over 60,000 pilgrims from the country have already arrived in Saudi Arabia, while more than 179,000 are expected for this year’s Hajj.
10. The Saudi Administrative Court has upheld the revocation of the license of a Hajj service company over deficiencies in catering and violations affecting pilgrims’ rights.
