Saudi Arabia Trains NAHCON Team on Nusuk-Masar Ahead of 2025 Hajj
By Abdullahi Yusuf
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is conducting an intensive training programme on the Nusuk-Masar (e-track) platform for members of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON). Held at the Elm office in Jeddah, the training aims to equip NAHCON staff with the skills necessary to utilize Nusuk-Masar’s advanced features, including real-time tracking, masha’ir management, visa processing, and coordination of accommodation and feeding arrangements.
Nusuk-Masar is designed to streamline Hajj operations for the 2025 pilgrimage, ensuring a seamless experience for pilgrims while enhancing efficiency and transparency in managing Nigeria’s Hajj activities.
The Nusuk-Masar (e-track) Committee was inaugurated by NAHCON Chairman/CEO, Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman, on 17th October 2024. During the inauguration, Prof. Usman emphasized the platform’s critical role in simplifying pilgrims’ Hajj procedures and described the committee’s work as the backbone of the 2025 Hajj operation. The committee is tasked with activating and managing the portal, training stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian requirements.
With the successful implementation of Nusuk-Masar, NAHCON aims to enhance the overall Hajj experience for Nigerian pilgrims and strengthen collaboration with Saudi authorities in the years to come.
